NY Uke Fest 2012
ボサノバアーティストＳＡＫＡＩがウクレレ奏者としてNYデビュー♪
毎年世界各国からウクレレミュージシャンが集うＮＹ最大のウクレレイベントＮＹ ウクレレフェストにＮＹを拠点に活動のボサノバアーティストＳＡＫＡＩがウクレレでボサノバを奏でる新境地のスタイルを聴かせる。

ＳＡＫＡＩの紹介：
ＳＡＫＡＩはＮＹを拠点に歌手、ギターリスト、ウクレレ奏者、ボサノバアーティストと精力的に活動をしている。昨年10月1日にプロデューサーに松田聖子の青い珊瑚礁、杏里のキャッツアイ等で有名な作曲家、小田裕一郎を迎えてオリジナルアルバム：Ｇｒａｄａｔｉｏｎ～ボサノバの風をリリース、世界音楽配信も記憶に新しい。
以降、クリスマスコンサートを開催するなどコンスタントなライブ活動は反響を呼びすべて成功を納めている。10月13日にはＷＤＩＹ８８．１から全米インターネットデビューも果たし、以降、同番組で毎月曲が流れている。お芝居や俳優の世界にも交流を持ち、最近では１２月７日から１１日まで東京新新宿タイニーアリスにて行われるシアターはるこばの第六回公演“あきざくら”にも音楽担当でＮＹから参加成功を収める。
今年の春には日本のＦＭラジオデビューを果たす。
3月4日から10日まで連日全国46局で楽曲が放送される。

Ariane AnthonyAnthony is a choreographer, dancer, and actor/clown who creates, directs, and performs original dance-theater pieces. She is Artistic Director of Ariane Anthony & Company and has performed at numerous venues in New York and other cities nationally and internationally. She teaches at New York Mask and Clown Workshop and Ramapo College and is a resident artist at The Construction Company. She has been called “choreographer of rare imagination and sureness who merges untethered fantasy with unerring emotional accuracy” (The New York Times). Anthony will perform an excerpt from her new work of dance-clown “What’s All This?” in which a character finds a bag containing something that simultaneously terrifies and inspires her.binbinFactory (Satoshi Haga & Rie Fukuzawa)Haga and Fukuzawa have been collaborating as binbinFactory since September, 2009. Their works have been presented by Dance Conversations at Flea 2010 and 2011, The Giacobetti Paul Gallery, Downtown Dance Festival, Movement Research at Judson Church, DanceNow Twenty Ten Festival, Sunday at Three at 92nd Street Y and a finalist (2nd place) of THE A.W.A.R.D. Chen Dance Company, Flock Dance Trope, Human Kinetics Movement Arts, and more. Kiori has performed as an artist for dance performances at many places such as Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Museum, Serraves Contemporary Museum(Portugal), Lamama Theatre, University at Buffalo, and touring internationally.Nana MasudaMasuda is an actress/dancer. She started her career as a stage performer when she was 17 years old in Japan. In addition to fulfilling a one-year contract as an exclusive dancer on Japan’s most famous comedian’s TV program, she appeared in more than 15 theatrical plays and some films in Japan. She moved to New York in July 1999. She joined the Sanza Nemo Collective, dance theatre artist Guido Tveri’s company, performing in several of his works at Merce Cunningham Studio, joyce Soho, Evolving Arts Theatre and the Nuova Danza international dance festival in Italy. She also joined the Belly Dance group Cult of Isis and appeared in a JapaneseTV commercial. In fall 2010, her first book “Paradise” was published in Japan.Takae MatsuoMatsuo studied at Eurythmy Spring Valley, NY. Since 2002, she performed solo and group works at Spring Valley, NY & NYC, as well as many collaborative works with various musicians for art and cultural events. She teaches children’s classes at Green Meadow Waldorf School NY, Weekend Japanese Nursery Program, NYC, work shops for adults, private and group sessions, including nursing home classes. Matsuo create original Eurythmy movement for Japanese language.Masafumi SakaiSakai is a guitarist, singer, composer and bossa nova artist. He started playing as a professional guitarist in Tokyo in 1989, performing Jazz, Blues, Pop, Latin, Brazilian, Folk, Rock etc. He moved to New York City in 1995 and regularly performs at many different venues. He is a composer, and Oda Yuichiro produced his first album, released in October, 2011.Misa OgasawaraOgasawara is Director / Composer of the chorus group “Bridge Vocal Ensemble.” She graduated in 1992 from Musashino Academia Musicae as a piano major. After performing as singer and songwriter in Japan, she came to New York in 1996 and has since been performing at various venues, including Joe’s pub, Don’t tell Mama, The Apollo theater, City Center, Madison Square Garden, Weill Recital Hall and Carnegie Hall. She also has directed, composed and arranged music for theater and dance piece. Misa Ogasawara and Bettina Sheppard has been producing “Bridge Vocal Ensemble”, International group of singers who are blending the voice of various cultures and time periods.
